If you are choosing a frame for a mirror or painting, please consider its width. For example, a very narrow plastic frame will not be suitable for framing a large mirror, as the product will be unstable.

This collection features frames that are deeper. Deep profiles are suitable for framing objects as well as thicker paper or cardboard when framing multiple layers (thicker cardboard or object, glass, backing, mats).

The depth of the frame is especially important when framing paintings painted on canvas stretched over a stretcher. If the painting is large, the stretcher can be very wide and thick – this is necessary to maintain its shape – and in such cases, a deeper frame is needed to encompass the thick stretcher. If you frame a painting with a thick stretcher in a shallow profile frame, there will be a large gap between the frame and the wall when viewed from the side, and the frame will not look aesthetically pleasing.
