Metal imitation frames look like metal frames, but they are not actually metal. They are wooden and plastic frames coated with a layer of metallic paint. These frames are very suitable when you need to frame a large mirror for a modern, contemporary interior, or when you need a frame for a large, modern canvas painting, as real aluminum frames are too narrow and not deep enough. Moreover, real aluminum frames will always be narrow, while metal imitation frames can be very wide. The metal shades vary from warm gold, bronze to cool silver, aluminum. Additionally, these frames often have textures, unlike real aluminum, with their surfaces adorned with grooves, waves, and subtle ornaments.
