In the collection of dark frames, you will find frames in various shades of black. These frames are perfect when you don't want to overshadow the framed object, seeking a simple, universal option. Black frames are ideal for framing photos, graphic works, and posters. The width of the frame is chosen based on the size of the object being framed – for smaller works, we recommend narrower profile frames, and for larger ones – wider profile frames. If you want more embellishment, you can choose a black frame with a silver edge, which will enhance the overall look. Also, when framing photos, graphics, and posters, we remind you that these items are sensitive to environmental effects, so it is recommended to include glass, a backing, and a mat (a thick cardboard border) that is placed between the artwork and the glass. The mat prevents the glass from touching the framed object. All our mats are acid-free – they do not harm the framed artworks. The mat is not only practical; it also gives the framed piece space and volume. The mat looks tasteful and elegant. You will find a wide selection of mat shades with us, and we will certainly help you choose the one that matches perfectly.
